Donna
Andrews and Kyetrak Cattery
Kyetrak
Cattery was registered in 1972 with CFA. Over the
years, there have been Himalayans, and then Persians,
and Exotic Shorthairs carrying the Kyetrak name.
The first regional winner was GrCh RW Amadea's
Sioux Wampum, a blue point female Himalayan. She
was followed by GrCh RW Kyetrak's Emmett Kelly, a red
Persian male. The first national winner was Ch,
GrPr NW Jimnet Sweet Suzy Q of Kyetrak, a brown tabby
spay American Shorthair. The next year saw Ch,
GrPr NW Katskans Prism, an odd-eyed white Manx, take
best cat in premiership. The 2005-2006 show season
was especially successful when she
teamed up with Virginia
Wight. Together, they had two National winners, one
Regional winner, a Breed winner, one International
Division winner, two DM's, and 13 grand champions - all
American Shorthairs or American Wirehairs. In the
2006-2007 season, they are showing (in addition to the
ASH and AWH) several Sphynx and a Turkish Van.
